Psalms

The book of Psalms is a rich collection of prayers, poems, and songs that express the full range of human emotion before God. From joy and gratitude to sorrow and lament, the Psalms give voice to the deepest experiences of the heart. Each psalm invites readers to enter into honest conversation with God, offering praise, seeking guidance, and finding comfort in His presence.

Psalm 45:1

{To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves.} My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Psalm 45:10

Psalm 45:13

The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. Reflection Psalm 45:13 presents a picture of beauty that begins inwardly and is then expressed outwardly. Set within a royal wedding psalm, the verse emphasizes that true glory originates from within before it is adorned externally. The imagery moves beyond physical splendor […]

Psalm 45:14 — “She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.” Reflection This verse unfolds with elegance […]

Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

Psalm 45:6

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
