The Book of Habakkuk is a candid dialogue between a prophet and God, addressing deep questions about justice, suffering, and faith. Unlike many prophetic books that speak to the people, Habakkuk speaks to God. Habakkuk opens with a complaint. The prophet looks at violence, corruption, and injustice within Judah and asks why God seems silent.
