Reflection

Deuteronomy 31:3 is a promise of God’s guidance and faithfulness: “The LORD thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath said.” This verse reassures God’s people that He leads the way, clearing obstacles and preparing the path for their inheritance. Even in moments of uncertainty or transition, God goes ahead, ensuring victory and provision according to His promises.

It reminds us that leadership and success in God’s plan are not based solely on human effort but on His divine guidance. God equips and positions leaders, like Joshua, to accomplish His purposes, while He Himself secures the outcome.
