Leviticus

The book of Leviticus is a foundational Old Testament book that provides detailed instructions on worship, holiness, and living in covenant relationship with God. It outlines the sacrificial system, priestly duties, ceremonial laws, and moral guidance for the Israelites, emphasizing that God calls His people to be holy, set apart, and faithful in every aspect of life.

Leviticus highlights the importance of approaching God with reverence and obedience. It teaches that true worship involves not only rituals but also ethical living, justice, and compassion toward others. The book underscores God’s desire for His people to live in a way that reflects His character and honors His covenant.

This book encourages believers to understand the seriousness of sin, the need for atonement, and the blessings of obedience. Leviticus reveals God’s standards for holiness while pointing forward to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who fulfills the law and brings reconciliation to humanity.
